Tear trough fillers, commonly known as dermal fillers are an effective method of reducing the signs of ageing below the eyes.
We use a wide range of high grade dermal fillers which have very minimal side effects and offer incredible results.
Tear trough fillers are delivered by small, carefully administered injections which add volume to the lower eye area. There are other areas where filler may be applied such as the lips, mouth area and eyes.

Having been born and bred in Kent, Dr Chris relocated north for university and graduated from Leeds medical school in 2003.
Dr Chris had initially trained to be a surgeon specialising in orthopaedics and trauma but went on to become a GP.
Having worked as a GP for many years, Dr Chris had developed a wealth of experience in both surgical and medical specialities and he even spent time in Washington DC USA working for a trauma team.
In recent years, Dr Chris has since been specialising in Aesthetics which is where Skin Consultants was born. It has since grown into one of the UK’s most exciting aesthetics clinics with a reputation for quality service and aftercare.
At Skin Consultants, clients seeking injectable treatments such as dermal fillers receive an in-depth consultation to establish their motivations as well as any expectations they may have. We pride ourselves in only using the best quality brands/products, as well as practicing proven techniques in order to minimise any discomfort.
Once consent to treatment has been given and risks explained, our team will then discuss with you what you wish to achieve from treatment, expected outcome, what will happen during the treatment, risks and lastly aftercare. Treatment involves injecting the filler directly into the cheeks, where it is required. We ask you for as much input in this process as is possible because you know your cheeks best and you will find our little mirror will be handed to you a lot to take a look!
During your consultation time will be spent to establish your expectations and preferences, and will then only be carried out by trained medical practitioners, so there shouldn’t be any surprise or shock results following treatment. However, if you are not happy with the results, we can administer a solution that dissolves the filler almost instantly, leaving no lasting damage or effect.
Within the first 24-48 hours there may be some swelling, bruising, pain, redness, lumps, injection marking, itchiness.
Up to 2 weeks there may be residual swelling, lumps (this occurs from localised micro trauma swelling from the injection site and where filler needs to disperse into the tissue).
This Depends on the results you’re looking for but we only use high quality products, & we will discuss this further with you within your consultation, ensuring the highest quality treatment.
